Behind a man who’s successful,
There is a woman of great worth;
Behind a woman of great fame,
There is a man who goads her on.
Behind a pupil studious,
Are parents, teachers and some friends;
Behind a child who brings laurels,
Are seen the family-members all.
Behind a doctor of repute,
Is found much labor and wisdom;
Behind a healer who is great,
God stays, blessing his healing art!
The doctors’ profession is great;
Ennobled, they must change the fate
Of patients suffering, in pain,
And dying undiagnosed, ‘insane’!
